I am in need of some help.
May I ask a question, I am really confused and want
to make a correct choice. I have gone thru the newbie programme and it was helpful....but....

Firstly, not sure what testing is..I'll approach later.
Is 800 Canadian too much for a H card and receiver.
I have a dish already. I seen the tv programmes it receives and is simailar to my brothers. He sez {the seller} it is H card, but I would assume it is a prgrammed card, no picture on it.
What should I be leary of? if anything

I think $800 is a bit high. Take a look in Buy and sell. You can get a much better deal. The card should be blue with a pic. of a satellite on it. (H card)

Could it be a programmed h card, without a picture on it?
Or is that what they call the test card?
a test card is also good, correct?
I looked in the buy/sell, are those prices usally in USD?

Maybe I am just not ready for all this hi-tech world yet.
I will re-read the newbi and info spots again, go back to the dude and ask some, possible? valid questions.
But I think I have learnt this.
H card + picture = good
Test card {programed card} not {as} good
I'm leaving now
