I have a sub with directv that i did with a broker in canada. The problem now is that the broker disappeared. And I still have my dtv sub but I want to add HBO to my current service. I can call directv doing a three way call through a friend in US but the only problem is that i don't have any info on my sub (account Number, Address, phone number, etc.). My question is does anybody know how I can get my account information without risking being shut down. Thanks

where are you located...The best thing to do is get a new broker...and cancel the original sub which might require you to cancel the cc that the pays for the sub...but there are brokers that charge a one time set up fee and then let you have the information therefore you can run in through the dtv website and avoid annual brokerage fees...let me know if you need more info

I'm located in montreal, how would i cancel. Call directv or my credit card? Would there be a risk of blacklisting my access card? So i wouldn't be able to reactivate it again?
Can you give me the information on the brokers that charge a one time fee for activation. you can email me. thanks a lot

Deactivating your receiver will deactivate your card. And Direc is very reluctant to unmarry and remarry a card. They would rather sell you a new one for $20.00

Curiously enough, they mail the cards being sent to the midwest USA from Concord Ontario.. HMMMMMMM
