i just traded in my car and my new car came with XM installed. now i had sirius in my old car and was wondering if i can some how do somthing to use sirius in my new car with the exsisting XM hardware that came installed.

There is a thing called the SIRIUS SIR-GM1....but it has some limitations....the Crutchfield website has a good description of how it works and what all is entailed. The biggest thing depends on the year and make of your vehicle.

I would highly recommend a plug and play unit if that is too your liking...then you can use it in your house too.

You can check out the Soundgate website also for several different specific 'adaptors.' If you cant find the answers on those two sites post your vehicle's year and make/model and we'll see what we can find. Thanks for posting!
