is it possible to receive Sirius or even XM throughout Mexico and Central America? Anyone down there that is getting it? I called customer service to both and they said they don't guarantee anything, but it could be there...
HELP!!

I believe there is a good chance you will. I get reception in Grand Cayman. Mexico appears to be within the footprint, not sure if it extends to Honduras.

Good chance 8-ball says "NO" to your question. Sirius has 3 geo-synchronus satellites that provide coverage up to a (supposed) maximum of 200 miles outside of the continental United States (the mainland). While this "maximum" may be on the low end, it's probably fairly close...meaning you will probably get Sirius with fairly well reception for about 300 miles outside of the U.S. 75% of the time. Reception throughout "Central America"?.....I wouldnt even bother. Honduras??? No chance.
Don't waste your money. Get an Ipod.

I was in Belize a few of months ago and a couple of places in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye were getting an adequate signal--Honduras isn't that much further south.

Just in case you're still wondering... with the outdoor external antenna you will be able to receive 24/7, with the antennas that come with the radio you will be able to receive about 22/7. :)
