Hi all,
I'm having a problem setting up my SG2100 motor with a 33" dish. When I follow the instructions and set the angles on both the motor bracket and the dish bracket, the dish looks like it's pointed up too high (too high in elevation). I'm comparing it to the BEV dish that is up and running right now.
Any thoughts from others would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I made same mistake. Only make elevation on Motor bracket. Leave Dish setting at 1 - or in my case "slightly elevated" Make sure your pole is 100% square-up and down- level and NOT move with weight of motor. Good luck

Hi

I also am new to FTA and in the process of installing a system. SG2100 motor
36" digiwave dish, invacom LNB all connected to a viewsat extreme reciever.

so far I have mounted the dish and roughly pointed it south.

in reading the instruction on the moter installation the requirements seem to be dish to motor elevation 30-declination for my latitude and motor to pole elevation as required by the bird closest to my latitude wich of course be due south. Now you have me wondering.

Please give any other installation tips that you have as anything helps us newbies.

Olly

I have the same problem. I moved my dish and I got a signal for 110. I couldn't get it to save. I followed the directions to try to find another satellite and my motor moves west. When I try to get it to go back to 110, it doesn't go back to the position. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
