Please forgive my typo in the title.
Hello, I am a returning customer to Direct TV - been back about 3 weeks. While I was with Dish, I had a Dual Tuner DVR that hardly ever gave me problems. However, now that I am with Direct TV, I've had a very starnge problem happen twice within a week. I think my DVR is an R15
I pause football games so that I don't have to sit there for 3 hours watching. The priblem I have had is that while I am fast forwarding, the screen goes black (no messages or anything) and nothing I can do will get rid of that black screen short of changing the channel and then going back. But of course, that loses my pause point and I lose all that unwatched part of the game.
Has anyone else had this happen? I've read lots of internet reports of the R15 being a hunk of junk. Is there anyway to get a different DVR? Can I use 3rd party DVRs with Direct TV?
