Problem, one of my two Directv receivers (revcr2) periodically loses channels (random, odd and even). Here's how it started, a thunderstorm rolled through and took out recvr1 (dead, wouldn't work). New recvr1 arrives and as soon as I connect the Sat in (from a dual LNB - no multi-switch) the picture freezes on recvr2, sometimes resetting it back to acquire data screen. The new recvr (#1) works fine thru all this or recvr2 works as long as recvr1 isn't connected. Any ideas, is recvr2 partially toasted or is it the LNB? Channels 490 and 491 seem to be fine on recvr1 and on two, if #1 isn't connected.

swap the recevers first ... see if you problem moves or stays ... i think it might be the lbn though ...
