Wiring Dilemma

For two years I have had no problem with my Directv, VCR, and DVD hookups. ABout a month ago the picture on my TV changed to less than clear. It became watchable but a little fuzzy. I tried the S-video connection, but in order to hear and see the TV picture, I had to have the VCR turned on and have it on LINE 1. This was not the case before hand.

I think I need to rewire the whole system. Any suggestions?
