I'm about ready to loose my "distant" networks becasue of a court ruling. Been reading about SC and BEV. I'm thinking of changing to BEV as they seem to have better high def selection and they have the Boston locals as their US East Net choice (I'm from New England). I have a couple of questions and if anyone knows the answers, that would be great...

1. Using a Dish Network Superdish, can I get both Nimq 1 and Nimq 2 in Southern California with proper adjustments? I live on a hill with a unobstructed sky view. I get E*'s 61.5 from this location.

2. I'm most interested in Nimq 2 for HD. If I get 2 but not 1 will the channel guide info for BEV's PVR come through on Nimq 2?

Thanks.

Your Superdish will work fine aimed at 82 and 91. The BEV HDs are on 82, and all trasnponders are strong in the continental US. However, 8 of the 32 transponders on Nimiq 1 are weak or non-existent in parts of the US. It happens that the East Coast SD networks are on one or more of the 8 missing transponders. But you'll still get the Boston HDs on 82.

So you
