Antenna lead repairable?

I really screwed up this morning. I closed the sliding glass patio door on my antenna lead this morning and it almost cut the antenna lead in half.:eek: The receiver now shows "Antenna not detected" when hooked up to the home kit. Is it possible to splice the lead back together or should I just bite the bullet and buy a new antenna?
