I just had Dish Network installed a few weeks ago and all of the prime time programs that NBC broadcasts in high defintion are showing in widescreen format with bars at the top and bottom on all of my tv's. They are all regular tv's, not high definition. I switched from digital cable and have asked other people that have satellite and have regular tv's and they say they do not have this problem with NBC. They all have Direct TV, not Dish. CBS, ABC and Fox all broadcast some of their prime time shows in high definition and they fill the whole screen on my tv's. I realize that eventually all broadcasts will be high definition, but I don't understand why NBC is showing in widescreen on my tv's at this point in time when no one else I know that has satellite and does not own a high def or wide screen tv is not having this issue.
