I'm located near coast in Southern California and am using a 1 meter dish with standard circular lnb. I cannot seem to get any quality from TP #3 on Nimiq 1 (freq 12253). I'm getting 85+ quality on most others so I know I'm aimed correctly. I've tried every tweak and setting available and still nothing. Am I out of range of this tp or is it so weak that I need a bigger dish? I've posted this elsewhere and no one seems to have any answers. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Transponders 3, 7, 9, 11, 17, 21, 23 and 25 come from an old DirecTV satellite that BEV acquired, moved to the 91-degree slot and re-aimed at Central Canada. Its signal is very weak on the West Coast and the Southeast. My son in San Jose has a 36" dish, and can get Transponder 9 occasionally. You may be SOL on these transponders unless you go to a larger dish.
