View Full Version : Adding hard drive to non DVR H20?

So I just got my H20 from directv, and it's the non-DVR one, since they told me they were back ordered.

So my question is, can I just pull this thing apart and add a hard drive to it?

It seems to have all of the buttons for recording on it, and inside there seems to be a crapload of space (probably for the hard drive). So can I just open it up, install a hard drive (I assume formatted a certain way), and go?

Has anyone tried this?

dont take it apart the remote has the buttons to record not the h20... remote is universal so it will... if you take the h20 apart I think I read something that says if you take it apart it voids something...
