Does anyone have a manual for the model #3100 bell expressvu receiver? Could you look up "Red Deer Alberta" in the satellite location table and give me the codes?

The satellite 'look angles' for Red Deer are as follows:

Compass Direction 129.2
Vertical Elevation 25.2
Skew 70.3

I hope that helps.:)
I got this info from the model 5100 manual because the 3100 manual doesn't have a listing for Red Deer. I also noticed that the information for specific locations in each manual differs somewhat for reasons I don't quite understand, eg. the Compass Direction for Calgary listed in the 3100 manual is 133.2 while in the 5100 manual it's 129.2, same satellite. Go figure.

Thankyou. Thats what the 4100 manual says, but it doesn't help. Maybe someone with a 3100 manual can give some input?

I also have a 3100 manual, but it doesn't include Red Deer in it's Satellite Location table. Maybe contacting Bell might help. Good luck.

Maybe this is what you need, a link with the t's removed to a tool to calculate your location and then give you the settings for your dish. hxxp://www.sadoun.com/Sat/Installation/Satellite-Heading-Calculator.htm. Hope this helps.
