Does anyone out there know which one is better 720p or 1080i?? Three years ago I bought an Hitachi 51" HD television and it can receive either one. I read the p means precisiion scan and it is better than i (interlaced scan) so would 720p be better even though 1080i has more lines? I have Directv HD and they said the 1080i is better so they set my set to that.
