Hi, can someone please tell me if it is illegal to posses programs like basicH, winexplorer4.4 BasicU and/or scripts like DssStealthPro in Canada? I will be traveling there soon and will have my laptop with me which has all of these as well as my bins on it. I was goig to take the bins off just in case I left it behind somewhere but was going to leave the other stuff installed.
Thanks

Noramaki,
It is not illegal to possess scripts, test-cards, programmers, unloopers, etc. in Canada. Nor is it illegal to program satellite cards in Canada, unless they are of Canadian distributors.
Read my previous post, in the thread below yours and you will see the law. The only thing that you cannot do, according to court rulings, is make $$$ off of it.
If you intend to sell receivers, or hardware, then there are some licensing laws within the Radiocommunication Act that you must follow.

Hi Red Devil,
Where did you EVER get that information.
And how do you get off giving that wrong advice so freely.
Can you PLEASE show me where it says that you cannot make money $$$ off something that is legal.
If its LEGAL you can make as MUCH money as you like on something but when its ILLEGAL you cannot.
I think your a little confused to say the least.
Thanks & Good Luck,
