I just bought this great 62" HDTV, call direct tv to have them come install my HD satellite and DVR. The guy comes and apparently there are several places to put the dish but none of these places give him clear LOS of al 5 satellites. The only place I could get all 5 satellites is in front of the house and the HOA won't let me install a dish where it is visible from the street. So what are my options to get some true quality out of this TV? I don't want to get rid of my Direct TV because I gotta have my NFL Sunday Ticket!!!
Thanks!!!

many installers dont think of this one ... but think about a tall pole ... 1 3/4"
conduit 10' long ... use an ant mast bracket to attach it to the eve...
this enables you to put a big dish on the side of the house but not on the roof ... but at roof level ... usually the eve, even if you dont have gutters wont support a big dish..

I mentioned that to him and the problem was that there is a 75 ft tall tree that would still be in the way. Personally I think it could work, but the "pro" says it won't. I'm kinda thinkin he just didn't feel like doing the work. It was REALLLLLY cold here on Friday, and I don't think he wanted to fight with the cold weather

As w/ many things, get a 2nd opinion. Have a different tech from hopefully a different company come check out your situation.

I'm considering that too. I think I'll wait until it warms up a little more so the next guy doesn't feed me the same line just cuz he's too cold to do the work.
