I have the "classic" sportster with the decent fm modulator. Of course the display backlight went out on me shortly after getting the unit. I want to resolder the loose pin associated with this but cringe every time I attempt to open it up. Got the screws out, located and somewhat poped the retaing tabs along the sides, but the back case is getting hung-up on the mating connector on the bottom of the unit. The connector looks like it slightly protrudes out of the hole in the bottom of the case. Anyone else experience this?
