transfer movies from 9200

They're on the hard drive of the pvr - I assume I can put them onto a dvd for personal use?
I mean - we can go to the moon can't we? :)

Sure you can. I do it all the time, for stuff thats not out on dvd.

Sure but my set up is kind of hard to explain because I run all my stuff through a Surround Sound Amp. The simplist way is this. You hook the HDMI cable straight from the 9200 to the tv for your true High-Def picture( you can also use component Video cables as well). Then you hook the audio/video cables(yellow,white,red) to the back of your DVD recorder. Its that simple. The only thing to remember is you will have to change the quality setting on the dvd-r depending on the length of the show being transferred. And make sure to always finalize the dvd after your done recording or it won't play back in any other player.
