BEV had called me out of the blue asking for numbers etc. for my three recievers but I was busy so told the CSR I would call back. I am legit, but am pissed that they would not un-disable the 4100 reciever that they disabled for a short while until I get back home as I am away on business. The CSR said it was a software issue he needed the numbers in real time (I wrote them down this morning when I left for work and he said he couldn't use them)...I told him Bell disabled the reciever remotely and should re-activate it remotely, he said they couldn't (not wouldn't!). Is it a legitimate software upgrade that needs my presence or are they just BS'ing me to check to see if they are all in the house?? i.e. are they lying? If so, I will be looking into STar Choice very soon...tired of blasting the CSR's over the phone.
