Receiver freezes

I have a Hughes HDVR2, and after about 2 or 3 hours, it will display the "Welcome. Powering up" screen. If you reboot, it works fine for 2 or 3 hours, then displays the splash screen again. What's going on?

check the power cable on the receiver. usually it would happen if the power cable is loose or the receiver is overheating.

I had checked all of the connections, and they were all good. But the fan had been running quite a bit. I'll keep it cool and see what happens. Thanks for the advice!
