I have a signal strength of 80% but when I confirm and save my setttings, i go the the "main menu" and it says I have no channels.
Were completely new to FTA and feel we are missing a very important step.
Any help greatly appreciated.
P.s we have the program from the computer already in the system, it was sent to us by someone who has FTA themselves.
Thanks.

I'm completely new to FTA and am having the exact same problem.
I am trying to pickup a signal from Galaxy 25. My reciver (VS 2000 extreme) is reporting an 80% signal strength but no channels. I have a 33" dish

I did a "blind scan" on the satellite to try to pickup channels but nothing came up. There are two bars on my reciver a "S" bar for signal strength and a "Q" bar. I get 80% on the Signal Strength bar and nothing on the Q bar.

Hi, you must have quality signal in order to get some channels.
Please verify the LNB type and Operation frequency. It must be:
Linear Standard type (For FTA) and itīs frequency set at 10600 Mhz.
For Circular Signals (DN/BEV), the LNB must be DSS type set at 11250 Mhz.
Once you have quality signal bar, perform the blindscan and thatīs it.

You must have both Signal Strength and Quality to get channels. You have to fine tune your dish. Means you have to move the azimuth and elevation very slowly, also adjust the skew.
