well friend, I live in Michigan and even with our weather of Snow, and rain for 6 months of the year, I have maybe lost my signal for a few minutes once this past year. I love it. I have Direct TV, which is the best way to go if you are into sports. As far as TVs go one satellite is all you need for your house, but you will need a reciever for each TV which they do charge you 4.95 a month for, which I find stupid. That is my only complaint about the Direct TV, other than that still is way better than cable.
