Directv free ppv

I have a question for all you Directv Junkies out there. Last Sunday I ordered summerslam on sunday paid my 40 bucks and thought that was it. Next think I know two days later I am watching the replay of it. I figured you know that they must have had a promotion where id get all the replays because I ordered it. Tonight I turn on the same channel and Im getting a ufc 74 replay for free and then i realized they never scrambled the signal for that channel and I get it like its part of my programming. My mother used to work for pegasus sattelite who was basically directv for off net customers who later was debunked and bought out by directv. She said sometimes that would happen with free showtime and hbo offer the scamble would be forgotten to get turned back on and people woudl get the programming for free for a few extra days untill the company realized it and turned the scramble back on. She did say however that this would happen with thousands of customers I am just one customer in millions so my question is do you think it is possible i will get lost in the shuffle and continue to get this ppv channel for free unless I call and report it?

I do NOT have a telephone line connect to my reciever. The installer and DTV told me I would NOT be able to order PPV with my remote. Well, I just did, does this mean DTV has no way to bill me ofr what I ordered since they cannot downlad data from the card?

What receiver do you have? If you have one of the newer ones and you have it networked and hooked up to the internet they will probably bill you from your internet connection. If you are not hooked up to the internet and you dont have a phoneline hooked up the PPV will sit there and wait for a phone line. If you never hook it to a phone line or the internet they will never know. The cards used to have a 200 dollar limit on purchaces before you get locked out from purchasing anything else. If you have never hooked up to a phoneline your limit will be much lower.

yes you will not get billed...i ordered 5 movies and was never charged but now i am not able to order with my remote anymore it says to call cust service--there is a cap of so much $$$
