I recently got starchoice and have 4 receivers however I was wondering if it was possible to hook up a 5th by using a splitter on one of the lines that comes into the house? If so what splitter or equipment do I need?
Thanks in advance

Actually I have tried a splitter but it did not work, what happened was that one receiver worked fine but the other receiver would not get all the channels, I unhooked I tried changing the splitter and same problem. And yes I took a direct line to the receiver that was not getting all the channels and it worked fine direct. It just messes up when you add the splitter

HI;
I believe it can be done you will have to make sure that the splitter allows power passing both ways. By the sounds of what you purchased it's a on way passing power splitter. and make sure that the splitter is a 2 ghz.
