I have an older Sony Direct Tv receiver which is connected to a round 30" dish. All has worked fine for years until about a month ago when I began having problems getting a signal with certain Channels on specific Transponders. Channels on XP's 1, 2, 31, 32 are taking up to 30 minutes or more to bring in the signal. Signal strenght is zero initially until the picture comes up several minutes after tuning in. When the picture comes in signal strenght runs from 80 - 95 depending on the channel. If I change channels to another channel on the same transponder I get it instantly (i.e 269 to 231 or to 335). If I change from 269 to 202 then back to 269 I have another 30 minute or so wait to get a signal.
Realignment of the dish and changing out the cable has not helped. Any ideas of what is causing this?
