hey guys. I have a quick question.

I had only 1 bell receiver subscribed, and that was my 6100 HD.
now, I wanted to subscribe a 2nd HD receiver in a bedroom.

So, what i did was purchased a multiswitch. I have 4 RG6 leads coming in from the satelite, to my basement.

after I hook up the cables coming from the dish to the multiswitch, and I hook up a receiver to the multiswitch... I no longer have any signal.

am I missing anything?

all I have are 2, 6100 receivers. and my even my original TV doesnt work. do i need a diplexor?

what type of switch is it (make and model) ?

HI Reading your question. Sounds like you already have a multi switch installed. You probably disconnected the power from the number 1 port which will cause you to lose both sats. Just take one of the free ports that is free on the multi switch that the installer put on and run a cable to your room. You'll have to switch the cables to find out which one is connect to your power converter as well

Hi there we have a 6100 and another receiver and only have 2 wires coming in.We have the sw 21 switch and he said we could hook 2, 6100 recievers to this.hope this helps
