I was installing 6 h20 receivers. We have a 5 lnb dish installed by direct tv and a zinwell 16 way mpeg 4 compatible multiswitch. The issue that we can not figure out is the six recievers had preview channel, then they we activated with full programming. After a hour the first three reciever had a menu pop up to download new software. It did not move or complete its downdload ( it was stuck).We were on the phone with direct tv for 3 hours doing hard reboot ,soft reboot ,unplug for 5 min, unplug power to mutiswitch and even enter a 4 digit code when the hello menu popped up. Nothing worked ! These receivers are locked up. After an hour hooked them up same thing right to download menu screen and can not exit out.The other 3 h20's download menu popped up and downloaded fine. We tried to swap leads from the ones that were working to the ones that weren't. That did nothing. All leads are new and home runs to multiswitch. The signal strength is low 74 to mostly 86's. Is there anything that you can suggest to double check ? Could the be a bad lnb ? Is this something direct tv is sending out that is locking up these receivers ? I'm at a loss please help!
