Pardon my newbie sophomoric question, but here we go. Recently changed from a round dish to an oval on Directv. I have a two receiver system and have schlepped the second receiver up to my weekend place where I had a second dish.
I have an extra oval dish for the mountain place but could not get it zero'd in. Put the old round one right back in place and presto, back in business. My new receiver (D11-500C) does not have a signal strength meter (that I can find) and I don't know how much different the pointing is on the oval from the round.
Any advise or rules of thumb?
