unable to catch on 500 110/119

hi, i am trying to catch signal on 500 for 110 and 119 but i couldn't, i just can catch 110 without 119 or 119 with out 110, what i have to do . please help.

yes , i use the bracket.

make sure your skew and elevation are at their correct settings.... your coax should run from the 119 side of the LNB to the satellite in on your receiver... if your skew and elevation are off then you will only pick up one bird..

also if your mast or pole is not level it will throw the dish off also... make sure mast/pole is plum level on all sides...

now attach bracket so if you are facing the dish,110 is on the left and 119 is on the right

Are you using a dish pro compatible reciever?

Sounds like someone is trying the Legacy and DishPro dance. It's just not gonna work. If your receiver model has a 4digit # then it is legacy and you should find a local retailer and purchase the appropriate lnb. Good basic Q's guys.

One other note if it is a new 311 you should lock on 119 then allow the receiver to download and update it's software. After which you will recheckswitch the receiver and it will read correctly!

Always peak out the dish using the 119 sat.
It should be the third from the left.
And speaking of Sats, has anyone come across the bird at 91?
It comes up as Bell South.
