Multiple rec. in same location

I have 5 hd 20 rec in a equipment room . Is it possible to asign each IR remote to work only 1 receiver.

with the RC 64R or RC 32rf remotes (RF versions). With the rf remotes and any of the new Directv H20, HR20, H21, HR21 type receivers you actually assign each remote to an RF code number that works for each receiver. To do this you need the correct remote controls (RF type) and on some of the models of receivers listed above, the RF antenna on the back of the receiver. If you have these items follow these steps. press menu on the remote, go to settings, then setup, then remote, then IR/RF setup. It should have a highlighted IR selected, hit select and change this to RF. follow the onscreen instructions and you will have a remote set for RF control of that box.

warning once you set the Receiver into RF mode it will not accept remotes in IR until you switch it back using the same process selecting IR instead of RF.
