Dish 1000 not picking up 129

I notice that on my receiver when I go to the point dish menu it does NOT list the 1000, only the 300,500 and Super. Using the 500 in the menu, i can get an avereage of 80% on the 110, but there is not listing for the 129. only get a few HD channels like HBO and Sho, but no other premium HD channels.

Basically my question would be this.

1. Does anyone know the settings for the 1000 dish. My zip is 95123.

2. What transponders should I set my receiver at to peak out 119, so far only transponder 5 gets 102%, the rest are blank. I heard that if you peak out 119, then 110 and 129 will follow.

Disclaimer: The folowing applies to the 1000.2 System, but may still apply to you.

Have you checked your System Info screen - (Push Menu button, then 6, 1, 3 on the keypad) Here it should list all the satellites you should see. What you do see will show up green, if you don't see 129 it should show red in the box and a details message should show up on the screen.

When setting up a 1000.2 system, you should peak your system on the 129 satellite, the 110 and 119 satellites will also be there if you have your skew and elevation settings correct on your polar plate.
