Hello,

Is there a difference between the 5LNB KaKu Dish and 3LNB Oval dish in regards to the HD channels that are recieved?

I am wondering if I need to upgrade my dish from a 3LNB dish to recieve DirecTV HD programming, and what the advantages are with the 5LNB KaKu dish.

Thanks.

All of the new HD (80 plus and groing) that directv has launched since October are on the new 103 satalite the only way you can receive them is to have a 5lnb dish and onl of the newer HD receivers. (h20 or h21) or hddvr's (hr20 or hr21).
