I just recieved an xm device for my 02 Jetta for Christmas. The device comes with a cassette audio adapter and the cigarette lighter power cord. I would like to hardwire the power to the cigarette lighter, but I'm not sure if I should,
1.) attempt to try to hard wire the audio input to the stereo,
2.) just use the casette adapter (it is said that this method actually sounds the best), or
3.) return the product and get another device that can be installed and hardwired into my ignition and stereo?
If anyone has any ideas, or can tell me about their experiences with xm that would be greatly appreciated!
