I've been using DishNetwork now for over 5 years and have recently started to experience major receiver problems. It started about 4 months ago, when everytime the overnight update kicked in the receiver wouldn't relock to a satellite. I would see the lock screen scrolling through the various satellite options continuously. The only way to get it to lock again was a forced reboot using the power switch.
We've replaced the receiver now at least three times, and various components to the dish itself. The coax connections have been checked and replaced, and the signal on the wire has been confirmed to be solid.
We're now going on our 4th receiver and the problem now is that the receiver spontaneously reboots and then continues in the reboot cycle indefinitely until I unplug it from power.
At this point, I am at my wit's end. Has anybody else had this kind of a problem? I don't want to cancel but the the (contractor) techs all come out and do the same things (i.e., replace the receiver and/or components on the dish itself).
