I moved my dish to a new location, but I can not get it to pick up 119W.
The strength meter reads 57 on the setup, under it is saying 110W not locked. It 0n 119W on the setup. Am I close to 119W? after running test switch it said that I had less sat than before, so I reset it is only getting 110W feed and local programming. What am I doing wrong.

OK.... If your standing behind the dish aiming it... you say u r picking up 110.... well 119 is about the width of the LNB to your left and up about 2 to 4 degrees..... Remember this is from you.. standing behind the dish while pointing... 119 is to the left and up..

My setup..... I have my 2nd LNB for (110) taped to the right main LNB that is attached to the dish which is the 119 LNB..... it the same height but has to aim downwards a few degress to hit 110.... same thing... standing from behind your dish...

I don't think I can explain it much better than that....

Aim for 119 first... which if you found 110 first... move the with of an LNF left and up and you wil get 119.... and again 110 is a LNB width against 119 LNB pointed downwards a few degrees.

you shouldnt have to move lnb's if you have a dish 500 ...

first thing... be sure that your pole is levle ... ste your dish according to the zip settings in the recvr...

then look for your sats...

you might be picking up the 110 with the 119 lnb...
standing behind the dish the lnb on the left is the 119....

bloct the front of the lnb with your hand or a peice of cardboard & see if you are recv. the sat with the correct lnb ... your elevation may be too high or too low...

what receiver model do you have and what is the skew and elevation on the dish when receiving 110 at its best? and i would say 119 is a bit to the right if you are behind the dish,so try pointing more right and raise the elevation 4 degrees, hope that helped

i got the dish to work, there was a small power line in front of the dish.it was in line were 119 should have been. i relocated the dish and adjusted the angles. i got on the second try. i did not think such a small line would block the signal.
