More camp woes!!!

Hello all! I am yet another person trying to set an extra dish at my camp. I have done this a couple of times before and have never had a problem. I can`t put a post in the ground due to the amount of rock in the ground. So, what ive done is taken 4 cinder bloks and stacked themthen took an 18" paving stone used that for a cap and mounted a mast pole on top of that. all level and flat. I have taken the lnb I have and put on my current working dish on my home and both dish and box work fine. With all of this said i am not getting any type of signal. Nothing! I believe i have all of the settings correct. Is it possible that it`s to low to the ground? Any ideas or questions you have to help out will be greatly appreciated!

If the dish and receiver settings are accurate, then my guess is that you are not getting a clear shot at the satellite through the trees. I have this problem often and by moving my dish to another location that is open, problem is usually solved.
