I am working on my grandmothers system. She has a superdish with a DP34 multi switch and we are attempting to upgrade to a 322 receiver. The original problem with her old setup was a loss of most of the channels. The 322 receiver says that there is a problem with the multi switch. Are all of these components compatible? Does the 322 need a separate power supply for the multi switch? I have tried with one coax and the splitter that came with the receiver and only one input would test ok for 110 119 and 121. If I switched the outputs of the splitter into the receiver the opposite input would test ok. I ran a second coax and still have the same problem with only one input testing ok.

you can not use the separator with the superdish ... you need the 2 lines from the switch to the recvr... be certain the the cables are ok .. unplug the recvr & let it sit for a minute ...plug it in & go to menu & run check switch ... you should get a result of switch dp 34 & 110 119 121 on both tuners...
