Hi,
I know this has been asked many times, so forgive me for being redundent. I have a second home in northern Michigan 220 miles from my everyday shelter. At the cottage I had the superdish installed four years ago worked great never any problems. So we got rid of cable at our primary home and had a dish network system installed two months ago.The system up north was never disturbed ( the dish ).This weekend I took one of the recievers up north and hooked it up,the programming guide downloaded but I had no picture, I entered the zip code and followed the promts still nothing. If I left any info out,I'm sure I did, please ask. I'm going back up for Christmas and there will be smaller children around so entertainment is needed. when I said I had no picture it was just a black screen not snow. should Ihave disconnected the cable that went to the 121 lnb??

everything was green, signals were above 60. when I turned the tv on with the old reciever still hooked up I was getting paid advertisment channels and home shopping but no locals or channels like tnt or tnn but when I hooked up my receiver from home I got the guide but a black picture screen then after a while a message like please wait we are working on your problem. well I waited for 30 or so minutes. one more thing there is no phone line at either home.... NOTE: MY WIFE SAYS WHEN SHE TURNED ON THE TV AND RECEIVER THE SCREEN READ WELCOME TO DISH 121 PRESS SELECT TO CONTINUE.. HOPE THIS SHEDS SOME LIGHT.

dish has changed their software many time lately ... you might try to update it ... look in the install menu i think ... lok for a box that say" download without my permission "

& check that bos & ok it ... then back out of the menus & turn off the recvr with the remote & see it it starts a download with in a few minutes... usually 15 mins.. in the most

If you are showing a strong signal on 119 and 110 at both locations, you may very well have to run a check switch everytime you move the receiver. If you still have the problem, try reversing the lines to the ports on one of your switches. I suspect one of these will cure your problem.
