We get interruptions with "searching for satellite" and then the program will come back on for 10 or 15 seconds and go out again. It will continue to do this until about midnight. Just on local channels. The repair tech replaced the LNB and the cable attaching it. Didn't help. The non-speaking person at tech support can only go by the script supplied. Any suggestions, please? Thanks in advance, Greynoodle!

If the tech on the phone cannot solve it, maybe you can have the call escalated to the supervisor or higher until you get to someone useful. If they replaced some components, and it didn't help, it's possible it's misaligned, or that the problem is elsewhere. Unfortunately, unless you want to try to repair it yourself, you'll have to keep badgering them until they get it right.

Thanks for the reply "megados"! You are on the right track. We just received a replacement receiver and now are waiting until this P.M. to see if it makes a difference. The only time we get anywhere is if we luck out and get a support person this speaks understandibly. I'll post again later when we see what happens.

We have installed the new receiver and right on que 9p.m. the signal went out and we got error message"015" acquiring signal and after 15 or 20 seconds the program comes back in for another 15 or 20 seconds and then goes out again. This trouble loop continues until about midnight and then all is well. This only happens to the local channels.

if this is happening the same time every day ... then you are getting some type of interference...

you need to look around & notice the happenings in your neighborhood... there must be something going on some where

are you near a hospital .. factory ... or airport ... something that is causing a difference...

what elese is plugged in by your recvr or where an amp or switch is using power??????

sit back & think about it for awhile ..
