Hi Guys. I've been away on business for a while and gotaback home to read all about the latest DTC issue. Luckily I had my IRD unplugged while I was away, and read about the 752 before watching some TV. I am still on the old update.
I found the schematics to the TSOP for the DTC 100, but I am confused about people referring to pin 15 as the pin to protect the ROM from taking updates. As far as I can tell it is Pin 56 that needs to be lifted off the boar and connected to ground. Here is a link that yo ownload to see the TSOP schematics http://www.sharpsma.com/datasheets/memic/flashcmp/03fpflsh/16m5/f160s5tl70a.pdf
Before I tear into my DTC, can anyone verify if Pin 56 is the only pin that needs to be grounded on both TSOP's? It seems that Pin 15 is a voltage so rce, and grounding this woud not be good!
