Anyone familiar withathis model? Built in hdtv plus receiver. Had in for about a week, yo got it, 752! Anyone
willing to sell or tra e HU bin? just kidding. Anyway got
el cheapo 420 plus receiver, hooked it up through s-video
no 199 or 509. My question, are these built in d** plus
units the only so rce for hdtv, or is the 420 the problem?
Anyone wanna buy a slightly used $3700.00a752 tv? :).

Hey Naka,
I'm in the same boat. The only way to get HDTV till they either figure out how to extract ZKT/CAMID's from a HU car (like Northsat before the bust) or if someone figures out how to reburn the flash chip that stores the firmware is to get either a E*6000 (which I have) or buy a DTC-100 an a VGA to Conponent video adapter (about $130).
I've had a look inside the F38310 and it looks like all they di was mount the guts of a normal DTC-100 vertically inside the set...I'm hoping that if a hardware mod becomes available for the DTC-100 that is will be applicable for the F38310...Obviously, the HU zkt/camdi on a H-car or a true HU hack woud be the best bet for us not wanting to hack a $4K television..

wutang,
It will...but the only HU bins that ever got release where samples by Northsat to prove they coud do it, and they actually released the ZKT And CamID from an HU car . If yo edite a valid H bin with these HU values at the proper memory locations, it worked (no 752 error)..they have since been targeted and no longer work for more that 5 minutes before being shut own.
So yes, and HU image on an H car will fix the 752..it's just not available yet..if rumors are true it's close, but it will cost money.
