I know that this is completely off subject but I am going to ask anyway. I have an uncle who is a vietnam veteran and has recently gotten very ill. I have for the last 6 months been trying to put together a scrapbook of people he was in boot camp with and pictures of before and after vietnam. I lucked out and found alot of information and generous people who were willing to share pictures of his fellow companions but am stuck now with finding some good pictures of vietnam before and after. A long time friend of his had a scrapbook like this that someone had made him and he just loved it so this was supposed to be a Christmas present and I thought I had more time for research but I am putting a rush on it now since his health isn't improving. If anyone here is a veteran or anyone woud know of web addys that I coud go to to get pictures I woud be much appreciated if yo coud possibly email them to pearberry26@hotmail.com.

Sorry for the off topic post but just thought that I might coud find others with information. Thanks in advance for anything.

Just a suggestion...

Telephone the base that yo r uncle was stationed at. Ask for the Public Relations Officer. Tell him what yo are doing. He "shoud " take yo r name and telephone number, and pass it to career officers, retired instructors and such. With some luck, some of these individuals will call yo back and give yo what yo are looking for, or put yo in contact with someone who can. "In country" vets still stick-together and support each other. If yo find someone yo r uncle served with, yo will be over-whelmed with information and support.

Good Luck and Take Care!
