I have a dual lnb dish and a single lnb dish. coud i use these two dishes together for the dtc-100? or do yo have to have the eliptical dish? I woud think that I coud use the single LNB dish just for the HDTV portion.

I use two separate three foot dishes, however, they go to a multi-switch. The IRD determines which LNB to use based on the channel selected. If yo don't use the multi-switch, then yo woud have to use a mechanical means to switch from one LNB to the other, that is what I believe.

YES BIG DOG yo can use yo r two dishes with a 2x1 22KHz switch into yo r reciever. Yo r IRD has to be a plus unit to do this. Checkout MULTIDISH.COM in the dealer links they have them.

So will this work than:
dual lnb dish. 1 side direct to normal non plus box. the other side of the dual lnb to a 22khz switcher. Single lnb dish also to 22khz switcher. From 22khz switcher to dtc-100 hdtv box. I think this will work but I am not sure if the switcher will mess up the dual lnb or give problems for the other non plus box.
