Totally agree. There's still the matter of the Military ballots that were not counted because of not having a post mark. A lot of people are angry about that and I am sure Gore will use that in court also.

So sad for the country. Machine count...recount...hand count...recount again and again. Guess this could all go back to the networks that gave Florida to Egore with only 1% of the vote counted in the first place. Bush 2 Gore 1...

Are all of you Bush lovers oblivious to the fact that Al Gore got about a quarter-million more popular votes than Bush? That Republican activists had access to 4700 absentee ballots and altered them? That only the electoral college system allows Bush to claim victory? Watch what happens in Tallahassee with the Seminole County Abentee ballots over the next few days.......

I havn't heard that one... but anyways if we're going to bring up dirt. How about the democrats that were caught giving homeless people in St. Lous cartons of smokes to vote a straight democratic ballot???? How about the voting area's with posters of AL GORE, that is illegal.

Hey FlaJim!
1. How many states did George W. win and how many did EGore win?
2. Which candidate won Tennessee? (EGore's home state.)
3. Which candidate won Arkansas? (Slick Willie's "OLD" home state.)
4. If EGore wanted to "RECOUNT" the "NON-VOTES" again, he should've ask to recount the entire state of Florida, NOT a VERY FEW dumboRAT counties! That would have been "FAIR"!
5. If EGore wanted a "fair" count where "every vote counts", why did he work so hard to exclude the absentee military personnel ballots?
6. George W. won, EGore lost! You, EGore and Loserman need to "GET OVER IT!" LOL
Merry Christmas!

I don't think there is anything wrong with making sure EVERYBODY's vote got counted. If that means doing a statewide hand recount, then so be it....with the election this close, I think they owe it to the entire country to make sure they get it right.....either way, just END THIS!!!

Lets not for get to throw-out the 8.6 million registered voters in Florida who are not even suppose to vote...convicted felons, non-US citizens, It has been a known fact that 70% of the military supports Bush,,,so they need to count those military votes...to me this is more important than those people who can't follow simple ballots and illegal voters...

I kepp telling you all. This is a Clinton conspiracy. Willy, thinks if he can confuse everyone enough, he can stay another 4-years.
Monica-gate was so confusing, the legislators couldn't decide if Willy, knows what constitutes --- or not. So, no impeachment.

You know, poor Willy just might think they will let him stay:(.....
Maybe he needs to dust off that copy of the constitution, I know he hasn't had much use for it in the last 8 years, but if he can find it he will see that the Speaker of the House will be taking his chair if the courts aren't done picking the new president...........

Hey FlaJim,
Don't mean to beat up on you 'cause everyone else is, BUT...
Liberals love to throw around the popular vote thing (which, after all the absentees are counted from every state may be a margin of less than 50 thousand votes.) Let's not forget a simple reality: Both candidates campaigned the way they did BECAUSE of the electoral college. If it didn't exist, both candidates would spend all of their time in the monster states and big cities and "fly over country" like Iowa or Arkansas would never see either candidate. In this scenario, Bush would have killed Gore in the popular vote. Yes the college favors the little states but that's why it will never go away (any bill to kill the college will always be killed in the senate.)
That's just like a DemaRat though, lose according to the rules, and then change the rules or twist the argument. The law is the law and even your partisan Florida Supreme Court can't hijack this election.
Also, for every bogus argument you make about Republican voter fraud and demonstrator intimidation: are you serious? The left-wing rent-a-mob has been doing this kind of street theatre for years. Remember the left mantra: "agitate and propagandize" and "by any means necessary." Tell me you're just kidding with that point.
GORE = SMASH AND GRAB POLITICS (smash the constitution and grab power. He learned from the best though. Bill "executive order" Clinton.)
GO BUSH!!!! UP YOURS GORE!!!
p.s. Daley reminds me of a mob hit man...oh wait that's what he is ;)

Watch the Seminole county thing unfold. Now it has surfaced that the same thing went down in Pasco county...there may be more (or even all counties). This is a direct violation of the law ( the usual Republican ploy...Watergate, Iran-Contra, etc) that may well expose Goerge Bush's phony lead in Florida...

FlaJim,
I will watch the Seminole thing and see if it gains any traction. Also, your points about Watergate and Iran-Contra are well taken...BUT,
Watergate occured in 1972 and Iran-Contra came to a head in 1987. Each of these was THE major scandal from the Nixon/Reagan eras respectively.
Lets think for a moment about the last 8 years. Hmmmmm a few things do come to mind: MonicaGate, TravelGate, WhiteWaterGate, FBIFilegate, BhuddistTempleGate, MissingHardDriveGate, RubyRidgeGate, LicolnBedroomGate, WacoGate, ElianGonzalezGate, MenaAirportGate, VinceFosterGate, RonBrownGate, etc. etc. etc. and on and on and on... (from a previous post)
I wonder how many laws were broken during the Clinton/Gore Regime. We may never know the depth of their corruption. These people laugh at the rule of law and spit on the constitution. Liberals everywhere do a tremendous disservice to their cause with a blind, almost lock-step allegiance to the Clintanista brown shirts.
At least with Carter you had a basically honorable guy with a respect of the constitution (although he was a horribly incompetent prez.)

Hey FlawJim,
What about the million military ballots in California alone that they don't even bother counting since Gore won a bigger % then the votes out? AFTER the votes were certified even in the states that PRESIDENT Bush Won..they actual counts of military ballots were unrecognized...but make a greater % for popular vote then your Communist Egore. Facts little known.

No lets give Carter the credit he deserves, he was/is an extremly honarable man, and if put in the situation that EGore is in, this would have been over a long time ago......
Although, I must agree, even though he was probably one of the most intelligent president's in modern history, he was one of the worst leaders, and his inability to delagate any amount of authority made him the most ineffective.......

Hey TDonn,
Presidents Carter, Reagan and Bush had my respect. All of them worked hard and did alot of good. True, they did stumble a time or two, but overall they had the best interests of the USA at heart and they worked FOR America.
However the last eight years of Clinton/Gore has made me sick; the scandals, investigations, trials and corruption has been an embarrassment to the people of America. AND IT IS TIME IT ENDED!

Nixon's biggest problem was he got caught with his hands in the cookie jar. They all do it (spy on each other), he just happen to be the guy to pay for it.
Nixon and Kissenger were probably two of the most brilliant foriegn relation politicians to ever grace American politics. If Henry K. could have Ran for president, I would have voted for him in a instant. He was one of the most intelligent people ever near the White house.
Carter was a nice and Honest guy, just a very bad domestic politician. His presidency really took its toll on the American economy. I was also not fond of the way he handled the Iran hostage situation, but he was otherwise fairly strong in foriegn affairs.
Reagan/Bush gave us back our pride, by giving the world notice that we would not longer tolerate terrorism and bull---- from third world countries. They also helped to rebound the poor economy left by the Domestic Carter weaknesses.
The current administration, well what can you say. If Clinton/Gore would have spent as much time paying attention to politics as they did surfing the pink wave into the land of satisfaction, they may have faired a little better. Well maybe Clinton let a cigar do his surfing for him, at any rate, they both are LOSERS.

Tulsa53....Now Nixon was probably one of the most untrusting president's we have ever (Given his political past, you would be too) and as Ironman said he got caught, really caught....But you said he did nothing for us.......You need to do a little research before you make a statement like that......
Look up his record in the legislature....
Look up the work he did as Eisenhower's VP......
Then I want you to look at the class he demonstrated in the 1960 election when he carried more states than Kenndey, and lost the popular vote by just shy of 115,000 out of 69 Million,(sound familier), although there were countless alligations of voter fraud(look at KY), Nixon refused to contest the election because he belived it would be bad for the country (Don't get me wrong, the better man won)...........
Now look at his presidancy, lots of errors, but alot accomplished.....Did China and Russia go to war????? You think there are too many nuclear weapons now?????? Why do we have a relationship with China (over 1 billion communist)that is productive (Although the last admin seemed to do everything they could to screw that up, including bombing them, and taking there money)
Ok now you say big deal on the China thing, their record on human rights is horrible.......How do you suppose our chance to change that would be if Nixon didn't get the ballrolling in 1972 and became the first US presidant to visit china while in office.......And would you like it the other way,,,,,a country with about a quarter of the worlds population and they still don't like us (During most of the 20th century, we were considered an evil entity in China........)
Are you elegible to be drafted into the armed services??????
I don't need to rattle on anymore, you look it up and decide for yourself, I'm no great fan of Nixon, but to say he did nothing for the country or that he wasn't a patriot is incorrect..........
You know, I can't even remember why we started talking about past presidents in the first place .......But don't disagree with me again :gg :)
