Well #1. Most people will help you if you ask.
#2. If your post infers, that you will give someone a bin file, it ain't going to happen here. Bin files are illegal to buy, sell, trade, or give away on this forum.

Now having said that, you are warned, DO NOT post this TRADE again.

What operating system you using?
Windows-95-98, 98se, 2000, ME, Linux Version?

Different operating systems have different settings.

Let me say right off the bat I don't want a bin..

Now then, it is a setting. And somewhere someone must have changed it. The company I work for builds and designs control systems. When I log on in different names is when I can work with different settings. These are machines that are running NT what are you running? I want to look around and see.....Can you go to "Control Panel" then "Networking" and click on the "Access Control" But what I'm thinking of may only be with pc's that are networked together....thinkin.....
Muggles jump in here you know the answer here don't ya???

HUH??
If you go to "Start" and then on the scroll bar click on "Log Off" What is in there, who's names???

That's where I go to enter different names to gain access to different options and when I'm done I go back and enter a different name to make sure noone in the company can screw with the settings.....

I'm sitting at a pc running Windows 98 and nothing is the same but I'm still lookin around....

No, it will not reformat your H.D. All it will do, is reinstall the operating system settings, and files. You should not loose nothing.
Call the manufacturer, and ask them, or send them an email.

Run Poledit.exe - someone has disabled your control panel display settings access.

Poledit allows you to set policies on a machine or network wide basis. Putz around in there- you'll see a checkbox to undo that setting.
