HDTV Widescreen

I am looking at Pioneer SD-532HD5 $5500 C and Toshiba 40H80 $3299 C & 56H80 $5999 C.
If anyone has compared these I would appreciate your opinion.

I would look at the Mitsubishi sets as well.

I own a 65807 16X9.

I would look at the Hitachi and Sony. These brands have never done me wrong!!

Have you checked out the Pioneer PRO-610?

I compared to about 6 different brands side by side it blows all the others away in HD and standard mode.
( To my Eyes anyway )

The Toshiba is far superior to the others. The flexibility possible by utilizing the parameters in the design portion of the service menu allows you to control all of the parameters of the set. Toshiba is the "hacker's" RPTV.

Man, nobody seems to be able to agree on which HDTV set is 'best'. One great reference is audioreview. Let your search engine do the walkin'. They have reader reviews on tons of stuff including HDTVs. I've been looking at the Mitsubishi 65" myself. The Woman likes the Panasonic 36" tube TV though :(
