Picture problems after update mod

I did the center pin on the resistor mod. IT works to block updates fine.

I have a problem now. There seems to be a horizontal split screen happening now. You can easily see it on very bright scenes. Its a brigtness difference. I only get it out of the HD. It doesn't seem to be an artifact of my projector since the other devices plugged into it don not have it.

I am wondering if anyone else has noticed some picture artifacts after the mod.

Also has anyone tried returning the recievers back to stock, and seeing if everything works again.

Oh, one more thing. Has anyone recieved a RCA warrentied DTC yet? I was wondering if they were shipping with the update on it.

Mine still works the same as always on the HDTV channels using the HD output. I havent noticed any change in the picture quality at all.

Have you tried a hard reset again after the Mod?
I know it reset the first time you plugged it back in but you may want to try another reset.

This Mod should have no effect on the picture as it is only
keeping a pin on the chips tied to ground as they are all the time except during a Flash write.
