Ive got a "modified" DTC100 that works fine (so far). I had
previously had one that got whacked by the 752 issue. The
one issue that I have is that when watching the HD channels
(199,509) the picture is not centered on my Mitsubishi 55" Widescreen Monitor. It is off to the right by approximately 2 inches. I remember that I had this issue with the receive that got 752'd also. Is there a menu somewhere that I can adjust the horizontal centering? I seem to recall seeing a menu "after" I got 752'd that I did not see before the update. Either I just cant find it now or it is something that came down with the update. Any help on how to correct this issue would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance,
TigerBig

what type of hook up do you use to go from dtc100 to the tv?
the Hitachi uses a RCA VHDC300 to convert from monitor output to component inputs. This converter has a setting to adjust the horizontal.
Sorry , but thats all I can help, but please post any findings you have.
thanks

Go into the service menu on the DTC and scroll all the way to the bottom (it's past the botom of the screen).

There is an adjustment for this found there.

From AudioAuthority.com

They mention the picture not being centered correctly there. They talked about adjusting the DTC100 via its service menu. Ill post more info as I get it..

At this point Im not sure how to access the service menu.

Try going to the AVSFORUM Dot Com and searching for the DTC-100
there is info on centering the image, You do it in the service menu as stated above.
I think it is INFO and MENU at the same time

Thanks for the help all..

To get to the service menu its "down arrow and info" pushed at the same time. It took a couple of try's but worked fine.

TigerBig:

On your Mits remote, hit MENU, then 1257....B careful! You will be in the MIT's servuce menu and you can really do some serious damage if you change settings. First thing I did was write EVERYTHING down, then played. If you change a setting and DID NOT hit enter, you can simply turn the TV off and it will reset to the original. But, if you hit ENTER, it is written. Also, check MENU 1259. Lot's of stuff and very fun to fine tune.

As stated, there are several sites you can visit and really make that MITS owner proud. Check these out:

Enjoy!!! You won't be the same anymore...
