i'm not sure you have the model# right?
there's a 420 and there's a 480 but i'm not sure about a 4280.

in any case your question is answered in the link below.
see the info on 752 ?'s which are about the rca+ 5th gen ird's.
you can find out if the ird is already upgraded to the 1 that prevent's h card's from being used in it and the option's available to prevent it from happening.

after you check those if you have a ?'n ask it.
IMO,if you read 15-30 minute's their you won't have a question but a decision to make.
